GSK – Guardians of Respiratory

GSK came to Giggle via our friends at Create Health. They wanted to host an event where the main objective was to create an engaging event to bring all the GSK sales teams together. We used our years of creative storytelling to find a way to create an engaging event that was truly out of this world. We devised the idea of 'Guardians of Respiratory', and a theme of Superheros which created a fun framework to let the sales teams learn and grow.

We planned a 2 day event with a host of different activities for the sales teams. This included creating ‘breakout sessions’ as problem solving exercises helped to highlight the importance of ‘team building’ & ‘working together as a team to achieve success’. There was also a conference element to the event and an evening event that had entertainment to support the themes. We those to do this with evening entertainment provided by Cirque Bijou who created a superhero themed circus performance that wowed the guests.

This event highlighted the strength and resilience in teams. The workforce had the issue of being isolated from one another in silos. The hotel venue looked straight out of the X-Men universe, so we wanted the building to become part of the narrative for our superhero journey. We aimed to create an academy of heroes. The event brand became: Academy For The Gifted.

I want to say a sincere thank you for the hard work, long hours, support and execution of the last two/three days. As you saw and heard, the attendees were blown away- They are not an easy bunch to impress or surprise and I think we can safely say that we did that! The feedback from day one alone was incredible. The delegates made comments likening the conference to ‘the old days’ which is praise indeed. Your team work, coordination and flexibility were second to none- thinking specifically of the last minute changes and additions!
