The Communicate Magazine Lens Awards are one of the most respected benchmarks in corporate video. Now in their sixth year, they serve as both celebration and temperature check for a fast-evolving sector.
This year, Studio Giggle walked away with not one, but two Lens Awards:
- Gold for Best Use of Video from the Healthcare and Pharmaceutical Sector
- Silver for Best Video Targeted to the Internal Audience
We won both categories for our recent work with Well Pharmacy to deliver a five-module e-learning series for the UK’s largest independent pharmacy chain.
More about our work with Well Pharmacy
Well Pharmacy’s customer service training needed a complete rethink. With pharmacy teams taking on an increasingly customer-facing role, the existing programme no longer reflected how the job actually worked.
The new training had to be grounded in real colleague experiences, not corporate script, and was rolled out across more than 700 pharmacies nationwide.
We produced a five-part video training series built around relatable characters and scenarios drawn directly from the shop floor. The kind of training people actually watch and remember.
The results:
- 90% of respondents agreed that the courses were useful and improved their understanding of the customer service framework
- 95% found the visual design engaging
Senior stakeholders expressed strong satisfaction with the platform, and we had some great feedback from the Well Pharmacy team, including:
It was so rewarding to see the script come to life. The tone was just right, and the team at Giggle were collaborative and responsive throughout the project. It’s a piece of work we’re all proud of. – Well Pharmacy Team
This year’s Lens Awards favoured substance over spectacle, and we saw a common thread running through the winning work: clarity of purpose.
That’s precisely what drove this project with Well Pharmacy. A bold brief, a clear objective, and content built around the people it was made for.
We couldn’t be prouder of the Studio Giggle team and the work they’ve delivered on this project.
Being recognised with these awards is great, but what makes this even more special is that the work we’ve produced actually solves a real-life problem. Where we started with Well Pharmacy and where we ended up are two very different places, and that’s exactly what a great partnership looks like. It’s through working closely together and really understanding the problem that we ended up with such a strong piece of work. We’re really proud of what the team have created. – Rob King, CEO, Studio Giggle
